Opening in June 2020, Xigera Safari Lodge is set in the unspoilt wilderness of the Okavango Delta promising experiences that are utterly out of the ordinary.

Situated on the western side of the Moremi Game Reserve in the heart of the Okavango Delta, Xigera Safari Lodge offers just 12 fully air-conditioned suites, one of which being the Xigera Family Suite.  Each suite offers full bathroom, outdoor shower, private deck with outdoor daybed, stretched canvas tented roofs and wooden decks reached by elevated wooden walkways.  The Xigera Family Suite consists of two complete full bedrooms each with their own full bathroom, dressing area and outdoor shower joined by an interleading lounge area that opens up onto a deck with a daybed.

Guests can expect extraordinary works of art and design, each handmade and unique, created by a roster of Africa’s most globally recognised designers.  The 100% solar powered lodge has been sensitively designed to echo the surrounding natural world.  Each suite has been carefully sited so as to maximise the protection given by the magnificent Jackelberry, Mangosteen and Leadwood trees, while at the same time allowing endless views out over the floodplains and passing wildlife.

The main lodge which is situated on a large island and surrounded by deep channels and lush vegetation offers stunning river views, a lounge and dining room with open fireplace, African-inspired cuisine, bar and wine cellar, air-conditioned library, traditional boma and outdoor fire-pit, star deck, swimming pool, well-equipped gym and wellness centre, spa and African art.
