Our Green/Conservation Committee recently spent a morning at the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA).

Having collected donations of food and other items from our staff for the animals in the care of the SPCA, they spent a morning understanding more about the important role the SPCA plays in our local communities.

The SPCA’s services include kennels and cattery, an animal health clinic, inspectorate, an outreach clinic and education programs, with their main focus being on their mandate in the protection of animals and to prevent cruelty, neglect and suffering.

About Our Green/Conservation Committee

The Green/Conservation Committee focuses on educating Thompsons Africa employees, customers, suppliers and friends on the importance of conserving our environment and wildlife for future generations.  This committee works to identify sustainable initiatives within our office environment in order to minimise our impact on the environment.  Additionally, they identify key conservation organisations who Thompsons Africa supports, assists and promotes.
